Monica is a dedicated oil painter of landscapes, en plein air, still life studies and portraiture . Her brushwork has been described as impressionistic but also uses a palette knife when more texture is desired.  Her plein air and contemporary paintings have been regarded as unique and memorable. Monica is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists, was the elected Vice President of the Colour and Form Society in Toronto and a member of Kelowna Art Gallery in British Columbia, where she frequently participated in art exhibits.  Monica is an active member of the Fine Art Society of Milton, Credit Valley Artisans, and  member of the Norval Studio & Gallery, Norval, Ontario, where much of her art can be seen in person at her studio on Saturdays, hours 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
